The airplane I think about when I hear the word airplane is the F-18. The F-18 is a single and two-seat, twin engine, multi-mission fighter-attack aircraft that can operate from either aircraft carriers or land bases.

Its most known characteristic is how fast it is, it can get almost 2205 kilometer/hour. The F-18 has a digital control-by-wire flight control system which provides excellent handling qualities, and allows pilots to learn to fly the airplane with relative ease. At the same time, this system provides exceptional maneuverability and allows the pilot to concentrate on operating the weapons system. The only F-18 characteristic found to be marginally adequate by battle group commanders, outside experts, and even the men who fly the Hornet, is its range when flown on certain strike mission profiles. However, the inadequacy is managed well with organic and joint tanking assets.

These type of airplanes are in the ‘’ Ala 12’’ in Madrid , ‘’Ala 46’’ in Canarias and in “Ala 15” in Zaragoza and they are amazing, I hope I can be a pilot in the future to get in one of these incredible machines.
