Everybody knows about the importance of radio communications in aircrafts, because is the way for pilots to be connected and known each other.
Before taking off, the pilot need to do a Briefing to his instructor, and then to the air traffic controller, who is the person that control the air space, and manage every single flight in a period of time.
Every word, instruction or knowledge between the pilot and the air traffic controller is by the radio system, so Tesla (one of the most important person in the creation of the radio) puts an incredible advance in the "Aviation History"
On the other hand, the pilot must be connected constantly to the control tower, to know about important news like weather conditions, crash of an airplane, the landing track is in good conditions to take off or landing...
To sum up, technology is growing everyday to best, and this is traduced in an improvement to the Air Force and aviation in general. You can imagine another system to get connected pilot to the control tower? The answer is NO.
