 The Macdonalls Douglas F4 Phantom, was a fighter plane produced by MacDonell Aircraft in 1960. It was invented as interceptor and bomber. This roles are usually taken by high speed and prowerfull planes, but less manoeuverable. In oposite of this, the F4 Phantom obtained a good cualification in this aspect, as result, it was used to other roles like air superiority. When it cameo ut, it broke so many reocrds, like the highest speed, 2587 kilometers for hour, and the highest fly, 30040 meters. Morouver it can take off with 27000 kg.

It was becomed i one of the most iconic fighter planes in United States, being so important in the war of Vietnam, and in tthe cold war, where it was decisive. It was taking the second place some years after becouse the new and more modern planes like F14 or F16. It was taken out of serviced in 1996
