Since the Wright Brothers invented, built and flew the first airplane in 1903, these incredible machines have changed not only its shape, but also its size, but the most important one is its the technology that they have achieved. Nowadays, airplanes can reach incredible speeds, can transport enormous loads and can travel huge distances without refueling.
After the II World War, airplanes become one of the most important means of transport, and nowadays, is the most safe transport.
When we imagine an airplane we think in its fuselage, their wings, or its tail; conversely, anyone realises that the most important devices of a plane are the ones that we don't see directly, such as avionics, where all the electronic systems are.
We may think that wings or the radar are the most important instrument of an airplane, but they aren't, without any doubt is its pilot.
