The C-101 Is an airplane used in the Spanish Force Academy to teach the futures pilots of the Spanish Army. This is an airplane built in 1980 by a Spanish company. This airplane is used by the Patrulla Águila in his exhibitions of air acrobatics, known and admired around the world. This aircraft has been in service since it was built in 1980, and there are 143 aircrafts built.

This airplane will be changed by the Pilatus in 2021, an airplane with an estimated value of 225 million €. In the last year, two C-101 crashed in this academy, it was a catastrophe for all of us and that motivated the change, because these aircrafts are quite olds and we can’t keep using them for long.

When my class starts pilot in two years, we will be the second class using these news aircrafts, so that’s fantastic, we will not have the problem that other classes have had with this old aircrafts, but on the contrary, In my opinion, the C-101 is history of this country and I wish I could pilot it. I dream of being part of the Patrulla Águila and pilot it in the future.
