WRITING 4 FRANCISCO JAVIER GALLEGO DE LA SACRISTANA ELVIRA

 Nowadays, the advanced technological capacity of the new airship generation allows the aircrafts move freely in every axe of the space. There are three axes, that combined with each other provide a wider range of maneuverability.

The vertical axis is called ‘’Yaw’’, and it is the culprit of the horizontal movements, it can be controlled by the rudder.

 The longitudinal axis is the ‘’Roll axis ‘’, it injects a new level of versatility and gives the ability of making movements able to change the vision of the horizon or even spinning the aircraft itself three hundred and sixty degrees. The part of the aircraft in charge of these maneuvers are the deflecting elevators, located in the back of the wings.

The last one is the ‘’Pitch axis ‘’, the most important one because it is the most used for tactical stuff, such as air combat (dog fight). This axis provides climb up even as fast as a rocket to position them above the clouds (in case of just some fighters), also they are able to descend due to this axis, monitored by the elevators.

 To sum up, all the plane movements are based on these types of maneuvers.
