WRITING 4 JUÁN SEBASTIÁN ENCINALES VEGA

Understanding the working of the different three key axes of a modern aircraft its necessary for a pilot to be able to fly whatever kind of aircraft, either a fighter, a helicopter, or a transport plane.

This is an essential requirement for a pilot to learn different kinds of maneuvers, from the simplest to the most complicated one, specially for the military pilots, which fly the newest aircrafts and carry out the most dangerous missions.
Basically a maneuver consists in a modify of the position of the aircraft in its three axes. In the vertical axis produces the movement called “yaw”, in the longitudinal axis, the movement is called “roll” and finally, in the lateral axis, movement is called “pitch”.
But this maneuvers are executed not only for military missions or simply for a commercial flight, but it is also used by acrobatic pilots which entertain civilian people with famous maneuvers such as the looping, the heart, the Immelmann twist, etc.

For example, the Immelman twist consist in a maneuver in which the aircraft rotates 180 degrees in the lateral axis, staying prone, and then it rotates 180 degrees in the longitudinal one, changing its heading.
