Nowadays, radio communications are essential in a pilot life. It could save his life and people´s life too.
Radio communication is the most important because it let us know what is the weather look like, if there is another plane in our route, or if we have permission to landing or taking off. We use a different vocabulary for this job, we use words that are easier to understand that another words; for example, if we didn´t understand a message we can say “say again” instead of saying, “I didn´t understand you, could you repeat please?”; we can also use the word “over” when we don´t want to talk anymore and we want to listen to the other person who is giving us the instructions; and when we have clear all the information and we are going to proceed, we use the word “wilco”. These are some scenes that we will live when we become pilots.
Radio communications are constantly improving so we have to be always learning these new changes; also, English is the main language, so, it is important that we have a good English level and know all these words; it could save our life.
