If we think that we cannot live our every-life being uncommunicated, imagine how vital are communications in an actual military operation, where many lives depend on how fast or accurately a pilot receives a message.
Aircrafts are one of the most developed machines in the world, (technologically speaking) therefore, as such modern inventions, they have to be equipped with the latest communication technology, in order to avoid any interruption or, even worse, an accident during a take-off due to a failure in a radio message between the pilot and the control tower. The radio quality must be the highest possible.
There are other crucial contexts where the communication must be perfect, for example, during a flight in formation. Every pilot, despite being focused on the pilotage of the plane, they have to constantly check the radio canal they are using is working correctly, because just one second of misunderstanding can provoke a catastrophic multiple accident.
To sum up, nowadays, where the message speed is the trump card in many important military missions, the proper quality of the radio signal and the communication systems are indispensable in the aircrafts.
