Helicopters are one of the most versatile aircrafts due to all the multiple tasks they are able to carry out. Therefore, all of the NATO air forces are equipping themselves with the new military helicopter NH90.
This helicopter is a modern aircraft created and designed to meet all the standards and requirements needed by the military to accomplish the different tasks it might be exposed to at any time and under any circumstance.
If we take a deeper look into the most technical aspects of this helicopter, some of the features which makes this aircraft stand out, is that it has two main rotor blades and a wide landing skid, which gives him more stability whilst accomplishing different missions. Furthermore, it has the capacity for two pilots in its cockpit and it is able to carry up to approximately 15 soldiers.
The NH90 has accomplished a lot of missions if we consider the short period of time it has been operative. It has served mainly in the Baltic sea, Afghanistan and North East Africa. Its operational versatility and the wide range of tasks that it is able to carry out, makes it one of the most effective helicopters available nowadays.
