WRITING 1 ROCIO PALACIOS GUERRERO

The C101 is the aircraft used in the San Javier Aireforce Base to instruct future pilots. This aircraft, which has a reactor engine, has space for up to two persons (usually a pilot and an instructor). The instructor seats on the back seat and has acces to the different controls of the plane, which allows him/her to help the pilot in case of an emergency.

From the outside, the C101 has an aerodynamic design which makes it a great plane for acrobatic flying. This is the reason why it is the aircraft used by the "Patrulla Águila". In the San Javier Airforce Base we can find two different types of C101, the one used for instruction and the one used by the "Patrulla Águila". Both of them have almost the same features and capacities. The main difference is just the design, the first one is gray, red and has the spanish flag on it, and the other one is gray and orange. The C101 used by the "Patrulla Águilla" has in addition a small compartement at the end of its wings which is where the fog that we can sometimes see on military parades comes from.
