F-18 is a Spanish fighter that
was manufactured by Boeing in US, his attack capacity is very big and it can be
embarked on an aircraft carrier that is no usual in new figthers. Spain uses a
variant of this model that is 17 meter long and the distance between the end of
one wing and the end of the other is of 11.4 meters.
Also, it have a very strong
fuselage because it is a fighter, it have a cockpit for only one person and it
is very small. Moreover is one of the fastest planes in the world because of
his engine that is a propeller.
The first flight was in 1978
in the United States and here in Spain came into operation in July 1986. Only 7
countries in the world have this type of plane.
In contrast, a lot of this
models are very old, so it needs a lot of revisions.
To sum up, this is one of the
most modern aircraft in terms of air fighting.
