The McDonnell Douglas F/18 Hornet was designed by the USA and used by the the United States Navy and Marine Corps. This aircraft was also used by many other nations since 1986. The F/A 18 first combat was on Libya with the bombing of some infrastructures with excellent results. But the story of this plane was so brilliant that the creators of the Hornet dicided to desing another one with better characteristics, the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, used by the Spanish Air Force. The designation of this plane to Spain was the C15 upgraded by the EADS CASA. The Spanish Hornet had better capacities as the AL 400 Radar Warning Receiver or the ASQ 600 Emision Detector being one of the best multirole combat jet of all times.
