The C101 is a jet-engine aircraft, used for basic and adavanced training at the San Javier Airforce Base. It was designed by the Spanish company CASA in 1975.
It consits of a small aircfat, which only holds space for up to two people. It’s design makes it a very maneuverable plane, great for acrobatics. One of the main characteristics of this plane is its nose, which is slightly lower than in other’s aircgrafts. The fuselage of this aircraft is considerbale compared to the rest of the plane. The C101 is also provided with ejection seats, necessary in case of an emergency or an accident.
To sum up, the C101 is a great aircraft, but due to its age, will soon be replaced in the Spanish Army.
