The C-130 Hercules is one of the oldest aircraft that we can find in Spain, however, nowadays, this airplane is one of the most important cargo airplane due to the many missions it performs.

The c-130 was built in the USA in 1975, and arrived in Spain in 1999. This aircraft is manufactured of very resistant materials such as steel, the fuselage is the most important
part of this aircraft. In the nose we can find the cockpit, where the pilot controls the movement of the plane through mechanisms such as the wings, the horizontal stabilizer or the ailerons.
One of its latest innovations was the landing gear, which allows a more stable landing and
take off. Furthermore, in 2015 they added four powerful turboprops
Finally, we have to add that there are very few c-130 aircraft in the air force and they are subjected to
constant technical reviews by experienced staff, normally these reviews are carried out in different
area bases, such as Ala 37 or Ala 14

This airplane is also used in numerous training exercises, such as rescue, parachuting or observation. the c-130 has capacity for up to 80 people.
