Helicopters are rotary-wing aircrafts used all over the world because of its versatility, which have as main advantage the capacity to take off and land in almost any area, without needing a displacement unlike fixed-wing aircrafts.
The Super Puma is a helicopter used by the Spanish Air Force in some of its most important groups like the 48 Group for many purposes such as the SAR operations (Search and Rescue) or transport missions.
It is a French helicopter that stands out for its hi-tech parts such as its powerful mast or the resistance of its cowling and tail boom, which protect the interior parts of the Super Puma during missions or combats. The amazing precision of the control of the Super Puma is due to its new stabilizer bar. Moreover, other parts of this helicopter such as the rotor blade, tail rotor or the skid has been upgraded in comparison to its previous version the Super Puma 330.
All this upgrades, allow the Super Puma fly at high speeds, exceeding 200 kilometres per hour, transport tons of medical supplies, and rescue hundreds of people every year.
