Currently, aeronautical industry has experienced a great advance, thanks to past research, and the efforts of scientists and inventors, who had as a dream, the power to fly through the skies. It took many years since the first prototype airplane was designed, until it became a reality. And even though there are already airplanes with elegant capabilities, the industry continues to advance, and improvements continue to emerge for current aircraft.
Today´s airplanes can make special maneuvres such as loops, barrels, inverted. They can exceed the speed of sound, as well as reaching the exosphere, the last layer of the atmosphere.
It is necessary to mention the flexibility of the aircraft, so that the reason that make it possible for the aircraft to have such characteristics. Aircraft are divided into three axis, each of which provides it with a type of motion.
Thanks to the division into axes, the planes perform movements on longitudinal, vertical and lateral axis, making roll, a yaw and a pitch, respectively.
Military aircraft, especially combat aircraft, are a clear example of the great capabilities that aircraft can have. These are almost capable of breaking the laws of physics, due to their great maneuvrability.
