Write a descriptive essay on any manoeuvre performed in a modern aircraft. Use the vocabulary studied and guidelines on Descriptive Essays. 180-200 words
Once an aircraft is in position to attack other planes, the attacked pilot is going to do the necessary manoeuvres to avoid it and to get out of any danger. There are a large range of movements. As an example, the “turn circle” manoeuvre is one of the most famous moves;
It is formed by various circular motions, following a wide circumference. This circumference is known as "bubble", while its centre is often referred to as the "post". Changes in the g-force load affecting the airplane have consequences in the bubble's size, it also variates the turning radius. For instance, an aircraft turning at its maximum load is not able to change its direction quick enough. Aircrafts located between the attacker and the so called “post” is safe from any offensive. Indeed, it is there where an attacking pilot usually tries to be positioned.
On the other side, inside the called “defender's bubble”, the attacker leads the offensive and could be in disposition to make a hit. As a result, every attacker is going to try to follow the defender's flight path. This position is usually called as “control point”, from there the pilot commands the fight, which increases its win options.
