Communication is really important in every aspect in live. However, this is even more important when we talk about communication in aircrafts.
The communication between the control tower and the pilot has to be fluent and clear. The success of a flight depends on the correct transmission of information, for example: if a plane is ascending faster than it has to do and the pilot has to correct its position in the lateral axis with the aim of reach the correct altitude, the instructor would have to say to the pilot by radio communication something like that: “Daniel, you need to descend 300 feet”. This transmission has also to be brief in order to avoid confusions that can lead in mistakes. In addition, the coordination between the crew and the air traffic controllers has a big importance.
In conclusion it can be said that one communication mistake in a normal dialog may end in a confusion nevertheless a communication error in an aircraft can have serious consequences. It is for this reason that pilots and air controllers are trained to do it perfectly due to ensure the security of the flights.
