Air missions are one of the most complicated, they require a lot of coordination, so the communications between the crew of the aircraft and those on the ground are clear.
In World War II, different types of communication were invented, such as the Morse code, in addition, numerous codes were invented with which to communicate, such as 'Affirmative' that is used instead of the yes. Or 'negative' to be used instead of no. Another clear example is 'Roger' which is used to communicate that you have received the message. Or 'Stand by' that we use when we leave a mission temporarily stopped. We can see that there are plenty of communications that use to abbreviate long sentences, but not all of it has been use for thar cause, for example ‘Roger’ is used so that the information arrives in a clearer way and that there are no misunderstandings.
Given the importance of communications on the battlefield, there is a specialized group just for this, the broadcast team. They ensure that the connections between the different team members are never interrupted.
