Nowadays, communications are very important in our lives and especially in situations such and flights in which a communication failure could mean the death of a lot of people because an accident could occur.
The control tower with these communications notifies us what maneuver we need to do in a specific moment or at what altitude should we climb to avoid contact with another plane. In bad weather conditions, for example, a hurricane, the control tower with radio communications can help us to avoid this extreme weather condition, that could be very dangerous for our plane.
Its most important function are the airports because there many planes land and take off throughout the day, so it would be impossible to keep order without communications. Planes are very big and its handling is not easy so the pilots need helps which is given by these controllers.
In conclusion, radio communication is necessary for safe flights, because without it everything would be out of control and the pilots would not know how to act in every moment.
