One of the most important parts in an aircraft, are the communications, which able the pilot to be in contact during the total flight’s lenght.
Firstly, an air trafffic controller leads the pilot and consequently, the plane, on the movements that preceed the take off and the following processes after the landing. The pilot must obbey the air traffic controller orders’. If there is not a security procedure, the travelers’ safety is not guaranteed.
Moreover, it is crucial that these communications should be clear and in a common language. The language used in the aeronautical world is English. Words such as: negative, affirmative, wilco, roger are said by the people envolved in these transmissions.
On the other hand, a failure in these conversations between the airport and the plane may end in an air crash, as it has been happening for the last decades. Although, they have been significantly reduced, it supposses the loss of many lives.
To sum up, radio communications are essentials in aircrafts to avoid misinformation between the different airports and planes involved in, and especially, to eradicate the aviation accidents.
