I am going to talk about radio communnications and why they are essential in aircrafts.
A pilot is receiving messages at everytime, during the take-off, landing and fly. If a pilot does not have any people in tower saying all types of things, the pilot will not be able to fly. Therefore, pilot has to do everything that tower communications say him on radio. There are a specific vocabulary or words that a pilot and a tower radio have to know. For example, words like over, affirmative negative, roger, say again, wilco, stand bay…and key words of aviation which are roll, pitch and yaw. The communications have to be short, specific and clearly, because pilot does not have time to listen a lot of orders. Also the structure of the communication is the next: firstly, you must say the name of who is going to send the message and who is going to receive. Secondly, you say your message and you end with over.
One example is that: “pilot from tower, ten minutes to landing, over”
To sum up, communications are very important in aviation life and very useful.
