 The communications are vitally in the aviation world. If we don´t use words like “over or “roger”,  fly wolud be so complicated, and especially take off and take down.

When a plane it´s going to take off always needs to communicate with the tower of control and ask for his permision. If no other plane has priority, the tower will say “tower of control to bird 02, afirmative, you can take off, over” and if the plane has recived the message, he will say “roger”.

The use of this type of words are obligatory when we talk about say something short and usefull. Normally the communications run well and the situation don´t need they, however, if something goes wrong, use the word “negative” and not “no” can save your life. Morouver, this words are international, this mean that a spain pilot can take down in a USA base with any problem using this words.

In conclusion, it is imposible to fly withouht communications in this day and age, and the use of the tactical words to talk to other planes or the tower of control it´s very usefull.
